Basha Uhuru 2025: Celebrating the Legacy of Creative Expression

Events Festival

Johannesburg’s most anticipated celebration of youth culture, art, music, fashion, and freedom is back! The Basha Uhuru Freedom Festival, hosted at Constitution Hill from 25 – 28 June 2025, invites all creatives, dreamers, and change-makers to join a dynamic programme that champions creativity, collaboration, and the power of youth voices.

Since its inception in 2012, Basha Uhuru has honoured the spirit of the 1976 youth who fought for freedom of choice during the Soweto Uprising.
