Ekhaya Guesthouse is situated in the heart of Soweto just off the famous Vilakazi street. The only street in the world where two Nobel Prize winners lived in the same street. Surrounded by the schools where the march for freedom started and the first scholars Hector Peterson and Hasting Ndhlovu were shot, the two museums are within walking distance from the guesthouse. The Vilakazi Community are accommodating and enjoy interacting with visitors. It is exciting to be in the area especially at night and week-ends For Lunch and Dinner we are surrounded by a number of excellent restaurants.

Your host, Paula Majola is flexible and accommodating, entertaining is Her middle name and she will ensure you feel at home, as well as a answer all your questions regarding the history of Soweto. She can also organize cultural activities for guests, including invites to community events ( Weddings etc)
