Join us for our new studio art tour which starts at 9am. The idea behind this tour is to showcase Jozi CBD art talent by visiting the artists in their workspace.

What to expect

The tour will start from Living Artist Emporium at 9am where we will visit the art studios of the incredibly talented young artists based there. This space is at Ellispark. Our next stop will be Victoria Yards, it’s their Open Day first Sunday of the Month, and we will check out the work of James Delaney, Dalio Manjate and Ayanda Mabulu’s.

From Vic Yards we will go to Superblur Art in the heart of Jozi followed by Nugget Square where we will check out the works of Gordon Froud and other artists in the Square.

Our last studios to visit will be @august_house76 where we will visit Sanusi Olatunji Art and others before finishing off at AGOG Gallery in Maboneng with a light LUNCH

Kennedy Tembo is the Ambassador of adventure in Joburg. He founded Microadventure Tours in 2017 to connect Joburgers with experiences outside of their comfort zone that are right in their backyard. A fitness fanatic himself (he has run Comrades and Ironman and pioneered the race to the top of Africa’s tallest residential building, The Ponte Challenge), Kennedy’s tours include cycle rides through Joburg and around the scenic Cradle of Humankind as well as trips to tackle adventurous hiking routes in the Drakensberg mountains
