What to expect
Lace up your walking shoes and get ready to see a side of the city that usually only the locals do. We’ll start out at Curiocity before heading to the Kwa Mai Mai Traditional Healers Market, the Collector’s Treasury (the largest second-hand bookstore in Africa), the Carlton Centre (the tallest building in Africa), Chancellor house (where Mandela and Tambo set up their law practice) and finish off at Little Addis (Joburg’s Ethiopian Quarter).
What you’ll need
Camera, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a hat.
Where we’ll be: Curiocity Backpackers, 302 Fox St, Jeppestown, Johannesburg, 2094
