Nanz will be leading the screening of African documentaries influencing the African music scene including (amongst others)  Finding Fela! which tells the story of music pioneer Fela Kuti, “Mama Africa” which details the life and career of the legendary activist Miriam Makeba, as well as other African music related movies and documentaries.

Nanz Mthethwa is a Johannesburg based artist, singer, songwriter and dj. She graduated from Rhodes University majoring in Drama and Ethnomusicology. She has performed at Kitcheners, 94 Republic, Che in Maboneng, and has performed live at the Bannister, Soweto Camp Festival but her most notable work was inspiring and curating the Hlabelela: It’s A New Mourning exhibition at the Goodman Gallery in October 2016.
