Over 2 nights, Dylan will be cooking some of the best African dishes from recipes passed down from his grandmother. We will also be exploring African food roots, with traditional African dishes including but not limited to Ethiopian food prepared and explained by the chef himself, as well as exploring South African Food Smorgsbord from Durban Curry and Bunny Chow to African salads and Tshisanyama.

Tshepo Molefe is a Johannesburg based multi award winning poet, writer, spoken word artist and soon to be copywriter. Molefe only started performing in 2015 and already has won awards for the May 2016 edition of Current State of Poetry open slam, February 2017 edition of WordnSound poetry league and first annual Say Something poetry competition. Molefe’s word has been published in the 7th edition of Sol Plaatje European Union anthology and online Pan African poetry archive, Badilisha Poetry

About your host A young African hostellier, cuisine and tourism enthusiast who grew up in Kwa-Zulu Natal with his grandmother – who sparked his love for making traditional african food from a young age. Dylan also has his own food blog called “Molo” meaning “Hello” in Xhosa
